EduGuna Journeys is owned and operated by PT Hawajaya Global Ventures. EduGuna Journeys provides educational, academic, cultural, and global experiential travel services designed to broaden participants’ perspectives, international networks, spiritual experiences, and cross-civilizational understanding.
The website, digital platforms, and all official information channels of EduGuna Journeys (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”) are used to provide general and specific information to the public who use the services and/or access the Platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Participants”). The Platform constitutes an important asset of PT Hawajaya Global Ventures (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) in building and maintaining long-term relationships based on trust, integrity, and educational values between the Company and the Participants.
In connection with participation in EduGuna Journeys services, Participants may be required to provide certain personal data and information (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”). The Company is committed to respecting, protecting, and processing Participants’ Personal Data responsibly in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and solely for the purpose of supporting the provision of safe, meaningful, and high-quality educational travel, learning experiences, and spiritual experiences.
By providing and submitting Personal Data through the Platform, Participants knowingly and voluntarily consent to the provision of such Personal Data to the Company for use in accordance with the Participants’ interests and objectives in participating in EduGuna Journeys services. Such consent constitutes an explicit and valid consent, including consent provided through electronic means.
The Company endeavors to present information, prices, schedules, and travel programs accurately and transparently. However, the Company does not fully guarantee that all information displayed on the Platform will be free from technical disruptions, system errors, or circumstances beyond the Company’s control that may result in inaccuracies, including but not limited to pricing errors or service availability. In the event of such inaccuracies and the Participant has made a payment, the Company reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the transaction with an obligation to provide a refund in accordance with applicable provisions.
1. Product and Service Terms and Conditions
1.1 Certain products and/or services organized and/or provided by EduGuna Journeys may be subject to specific terms and conditions that apply in addition to and/or as a supplement to these General Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Such specific terms and conditions as referred to in Clause (1.1) are established to accommodate the characteristics of each product and/or service, including but not limited to educational travel programs, academic and non-academic activities, cooperation with educational institutions, travel partners, transportation service providers, accommodation providers, and other third parties.
1.3 Participants are required to read, understand, and agree to all specific terms and conditions applicable to the selected product and/or service prior to making any booking, payment, registration, or participation in an EduGuna Journeys program. Such specific terms and conditions may include, among others, provisions regarding program changes and/or cancellations, refund policies, limitations and/or exclusions of liability, participation requirements, and other operational provisions.
1.4 Specific terms and conditions for certain products and/or services may be stated and/or displayed through the official EduGuna Journeys website, promotional materials, program information, booking confirmations, separate agreements, or other official communication channels designated by EduGuna Journeys.
1.5 In the event of any discrepancy, conflict, or inconsistency between these General Terms and Conditions and the specific terms and conditions of a particular product and/or service, the specific terms and conditions of such product and/or service shall prevail and be binding upon the Participant.
2. Changes to Bookings and Purchases
Please note that provisions regarding reservation and/or purchase changes may vary for each product and/or service provided by EduGuna Journeys. Participants are not permitted to modify bookings or purchases online through the Website. Any changes to bookings and/or purchases may only be requested by contacting the official EduGuna Journeys office via telephone at +62 821 2543 4083 or through other official communication channels designated by EduGuna Journeys. All requests for reservation changes must be submitted no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the commencement date of the relevant travel and/or service and may be subject to administrative fees, which shall be borne entirely by the Participant. It is hereby expressly stated that changes to confirmed airline tickets cannot be made, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the specific terms and conditions stipulated by the airline and/or relevant third parties.
3. Special Requests
3.1 Participants may submit special requests relating to specific needs, including but not limited to dietary requirements, room preferences, medical needs, or other personal requests (hereinafter referred to as “Special Requests”), at the time of booking or within a timeframe determined by EduGuna Journeys.
3.2 All Special Requests are non-guaranteed and their fulfillment is subject to availability, policies, and approval of the relevant service providers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, transportation providers, partner institutions, or other third parties.
3.3 EduGuna Journeys will make reasonable efforts to forward Participants’ Special Requests to the relevant service providers but shall not be responsible for any failure to fulfill such Special Requests, whether in whole or in part.
3.4 In particular, for Special Requests relating to medical conditions, allergies, or specific health needs, Participants are fully responsible for providing true, complete, and accurate information to EduGuna Journeys. EduGuna Journeys shall not be responsible for any risks, impacts, or consequences arising from the inability of third parties to fulfill such Special Requests.
3.5 Where the fulfillment of Special Requests results in additional costs, such costs shall be borne entirely by the Participant and may be charged in accordance with the provisions determined by the relevant service providers.
4. Schedule Changes
4.1 EduGuna Journeys reserves the right to make changes to travel schedules, activity arrangements, routes, departure and/or return times, instructors, speakers, activity locations, or other program components, where necessary due to operational considerations, weather conditions, force majeure events, government policies, security conditions, or other reasons beyond the reasonable control of EduGuna Journeys.
4.2 Changes as referred to in Clause (4.1) may be made before or during the implementation of the program without any obligation on the part of EduGuna Journeys to provide compensation, provided that such changes do not eliminate the core substance of the agreed program.
4.3 EduGuna Journeys will notify Participants of any such schedule changes within a reasonable time through available official communication channels. Participants hereby agree that schedule changes constitute an integral part of the organization of educational travel programs.
4.4 If schedule changes result in additional costs, such costs shall be communicated to the Participants and may be borne by the Participants in accordance with applicable provisions and/or third-party policies.
4.5 EduGuna Journeys shall not be responsible for indirect losses, non-material losses, or personal consequences experienced by Participants arising from schedule changes, including but not limited to delays, cancellation of certain activities, or changes to the program arrangement.
5. Cancellation
5.1 Participants are entitled to submit a cancellation request for EduGuna Journeys products and/or services by providing written notice through the official communication channels designated by EduGuna Journeys.
5.2 Refund policies, cancellation fees, and cancellation deadlines may vary for each product and/or service and shall be further regulated in the specific terms and conditions of each product and/or service.
5.3 In the event a cancellation is submitted by a Participant, EduGuna Journeys reserves the right to impose a cancellation fee in accordance with applicable provisions, including but not limited to administrative fees, payments already made to third parties, and other non-refundable costs.
5.4 Any refund, if applicable, shall be processed after deducting the cancellation fees as referred to in Clause (5.3) and shall be processed within the timeframe determined by EduGuna Journeys using the refund method designated by EduGuna Journeys.
5.5 EduGuna Journeys is under no obligation to provide refunds for cancellations submitted after the specified deadline, cancellations due to the Participant’s personal reasons, or cancellations related to non-refundable third-party services, including but not limited to airline tickets, accommodation, and partner institution fees.
5.6 In the event that a program is cancelled by EduGuna Journeys due to operational reasons, force majeure conditions, government policies, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of EduGuna Journeys, the provisions regarding refunds, rescheduling, or other forms of settlement shall be determined proportionally in accordance with the prevailing circumstances and relevant third-party policies.
6. Visa & Immigration
6.1 Participants are fully responsible for ensuring that all required travel documents, including but not limited to passports, visas, entry permits, residence permits, and other immigration documents, are obtained, valid, and compliant with the regulations of the destination country.
6.2 EduGuna Journeys may, at its discretion, provide general information, administrative guidance, or limited assistance regarding visa and/or immigration document applications. Such assistance shall not be construed as a guarantee of visa approval or entry permission by the relevant immigration authorities.
6.3 The decision to grant, refuse, restrict, or revoke visas and/or immigration permits rests entirely with the immigration authorities of the destination country and is beyond the control of EduGuna Journeys.
6.4 EduGuna Journeys shall not be responsible for visa refusals, immigration processing delays, denied entry, deportation, or other immigration actions experienced by Participants, including all resulting costs, delays, or program cancellations.
6.5 If a Participant is unable to participate in part or all of the program due to visa and/or immigration issues, the applicable cancellation, fee, and refund provisions shall refer to the Cancellation Clause and the specific terms and conditions of the relevant product and/or service.
7. Third-Party Travel Service Providers
Participants may be subject to the terms and conditions imposed by travel service providers for which the Company acts as a service agent, including conditions of carriage, flight refunds and cancellations, and other related terms. The Company shall not be responsible for claims arising from the non-fulfillment of or dissatisfaction with products and services purchased by the Company on behalf of Participants from third-party providers and distributors, such as airlines, hotels, insurance companies, and other entities. Participants should be aware that airlines and/or travel service providers may, from time to time, overbook reservations or reschedule flights. In this regard, the Company shall not be responsible for any actions or policies implemented by such third parties.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 Force Majeure refers to any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control and capability of EduGuna Journeys that directly or indirectly hinders, delays, or prevents the performance of part or all of EduGuna Journeys’ obligations under these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, armed conflict, riots, acts of terrorism, mass strikes, transportation disruptions, fires, government policies or actions, changes in laws or regulations, territorial closures, and other similar events.
8.2 In the event of Force Majeure, EduGuna Journeys shall not be held liable for delays, changes, postponements, or cancellations of the implementation of products and/or services, provided that such Force Majeure events materially affect the performance of EduGuna Journeys’ obligations.
8.3 EduGuna Journeys reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments, including but not limited to schedule changes, route changes, service substitutions, rescheduling, or partial or full cancellation of programs, without any obligation to provide compensation for indirect or non-material losses incurred by Participants.
8.4 If Force Majeure results in the cancellation of a program, arrangements regarding refunds, rescheduling, or other forms of settlement shall be determined proportionally by EduGuna Journeys, taking into account costs already incurred and/or paid to third parties that are non-refundable.
8.5 Participants hereby agree that Force Majeure constitutes a condition that releases EduGuna Journeys from the obligation to fully perform its obligations during the period of Force Majeure, and Participants waive any claims, demands, or legal actions arising as a result of such circumstances.
9. Indemnity
Participants hereby agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless EduGuna Journeys from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, and legal demands arising from the actions, negligence, violations of law, or non-compliance by the Participants with these Terms and Conditions or applicable regulations during the implementation of the program.
10. Privacy Policy
The Company guarantees the protection of Customers’ privacy. All terms and conditions relating to the protection of Customers’ Personal Data shall be subject to and governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy as stated above.
Additional Terms Related to Permission to Visit Jerusalem
1. Permission to Enter Jerusalem
Participants understand and agree that the process of applying for permission/visa/permit to enter the territory of Jerusalem is entirely under the authority of the relevant governing bodies and is beyond the responsibility and control of the organizer. Therefore, any failure to obtain or rejection of such permission/visa/permit shall not constitute grounds for any claim, demand, or compensation against the organizer.
2. Alternative Facilitation in Amman City
If a participant does not obtain permission/permit to enter Jerusalem, the organizer will facilitate the participant to take part in an alternative program for 3 (three) days and 2 (two) nights in Amman City, Jordan, with official accompaniment and guidance provided by the organizer.
3. Substitute Program
During the stay in Amman City, participants will be guided to visit selected tourist, cultural, historical, or religious destinations that are relevant and of interest, as a substitute for the Jerusalem itinerary that cannot be undertaken.
4. Accommodation Arrangements and Costs
For the purpose of ensuring comfort and the smooth implementation of the alternative program, the organizer will arrange accommodation for 3 (three) days and 2 (two) nights in Amman City.
In this regard, participants agree to the application of an adjusted additional charge / operational cost contribution to cover accommodation expenses and other supporting services during the alternative program.
5. Participant Consent
By registering for and participating in this trip, participants are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all of these additional terms voluntarily and without any coercion from any party.
